Video recordings and data analytics are incredibly important for mobile surveillance systems. In the uncommon event of a data storage drive malfunction, RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) guarantees no data loss through data mirroring or striping with parity. RAID employs several hard drives to typically generate parity bits across each drive to withstand the failure of one or two drives. Despite its rarity, enabling RAID on our embedded NVRs offer the essential safeguard against data loss during crucial deployments.
