Sunlight readable monitors with high-brightness displays enable users to see clearly even in south-facing direct sunlight. Our range of high-brightness displays are far brighter than standard LCD monitors and provides the operator with increased visibility. These sunlight-readable monitors are available in a wide range of display sizes, featuring 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio screens, touchscreen overlays, and a variety of video inputs. They also come with either industrial, rugged, or waterproof enclosures suitable for VESA mount, panel mount, and open frame configurations.
For setups exposed to indirect sunlight or intense reflected light on a factory floor, our daylight viewable displays are typically sufficient. Daylight readable monitors are more budget-friendly than high-brightness sunlight readable monitors and come with LCD screens that typically offer around 700 nits of brightness. In contrast, our sunlight-readable monitors, designed for direct sunlight exposure, boast a higher brightness of 1000 nits or more, making them suitable for more demanding lighting conditions.
Optically bonding a daylight readable display improves visibility and protects the monitor from humidity and internal fogging caused by trapped moisture. Among other benefits, these displays also produce less heat, require less power, and offer increased durability compared to ultra high-bright displays.
